The manual says that if the door mirror switch is toward the driver's side the passenger mirror will tilt down when the car is put in reverse. It doesn't. In my three E46's this worked, and other BMWs. Why not in this 2016 X1? Is it part of another option such as folding mirrors? The manual doesn't ...

Collected car today, and it has the strips!! I'm impressed with the drive and handling. My own car is a Cayman 981 but the X1 is quite a fun drive too, quite flat around the bends (sports seats are great) and a good turn of speed (keeping the revs down whilst running in).
