Here's one of the reasons why I got an X5...

Needed to fit this little guy and 2 adults dogs in the boot...

Spec : 40d M Sport, sapphire black, black leather, 469 20" alloys, pano roof, reversing camera, heated steering wheel, tinted glass

Also had badges side and back removed.

And yes rich I'm very tempted to get some performance grills...

I'm tempted to get some for my X5 when it arrives, but I'm not sure it will look so good on a black car... The grey really sets it off

I just googled 'X5 performance grill' there's a few pics of them on grey cars... Definately a good look...

Yeah you're not wrong, just found this pic online... Clearly a 7 seater... Good to know the dealers know their cars lol

I asked BMW about this as I need to fit a dog guard when my car arrives.

They said, all X5's currently come with the 'extended storage' package which includes the four lashing rails. But the rail system is deleted on models with the 3rd seating row option.

Therefore your car should come with rails.
