Oh they need calibration! Was thinking it was a bolt on ready to go replacement part, oh well looks like another trip to the garage.

Electric boot

Hi folks having problems with my electric boot, the strut? If that's what they call it :-[ is making a loud clicking noise, just the one on left. How easy are they to replace and where can I source one. Thanks

Well no joy with this roof, its proper mangled...Indy managed to get the glass down but it's a do not touch from now on :'( he said it needs a whole new cassette

It's stuck at an angle! I still need to drive home after work lol knowing my luck the glass will crack!!

Aargh! It's now went down on the Pasanger side and still up on the driver side and now truly stuck, it's not budging at all!! Hope it doesn't rain tonight lol

Panoramic roof help

Hi folks need help here, I've opened my roof today to tilt and it now won't close!! It seems like it's stuck at the front driver side!? It begins to close then you hear something click or catch and it re-opens again!!

I've just replaced all four and the tyre fitter explained to me all x5 do that to the tyres get to the end of its life, he said it was the camber that they are factory set with. Though they weren't worn quiet as bad as that but getting there

Just a wee update, with the warmer weather the strange lack of power below 2.5k 3.0k was becoming more apparent. So it turns out the vacume pipe to the small turbo was perished, I'm presuming when it was getting hot under the bonnet the rubber hose became softer and didn't hold the pressure as it ...

Power delivery seems fine till a fair bit of heat sets in then I start noticing a fair difference, think i will need to have it looked at :(

It's a 08 and pretty sure it's electric as there's a wire to it and you can't push the flaps open, there is definitely a noticeable lack of power below 3000rpm when she's built up a fair bit of temperature, especially if it's stopped and heat soak sets in, just really weird that it only affect lower ...

Flaps behind kidney grill

Anyone know when the flaps behind the kidney grills should open up? I've noticed when after a long run and a fair bit of heat has built up its rather sluggish below 3k rpm then above that it goes like stink??? It's as if the intercooler is too hot. And even when the engine is pipping hot I get out ...
