// BMW X5 F15 FOR SALE (WITH PICS) //
Hi, Its with a heavy heart that I need to sell my beloved F15 X5 as I am being relocated with work. Its an absolutely awesome car with a great spec, low miles and I have just put on the highest level BMW warranty with Emergency assistance, so 110% piece of mind. Looking for a quick sale at £30,000 ...

Re: 2014 F15 Warranty Extension
I am in the same position (2014 F15 coming up to 3 years in June). I renewed it last week and was surprised at the quote which came in under what I expected: £850 for 12 months full comprehensive cover + emergency assistance (with £250 excess). I think it does depend on your mileage too (mine has 3 ...

F15 Used prices
Hi Guys, It looks like I'm going to be selling my F15 X5 in the near future due to work relocation and have been studying used prices to work out how much to put it up for. There's quite a lot of differences on whats available on the used market from private, trade and BMW directly on different ...

F15 M-sport Steering Wheel // Best way to clean
Hi Guys, This seems a random question, but wanted to gather a few opinions. What's the best way and what products are the best to clean the X5 M-Sport steering wheel? I have tried a few regular leather cleaners and always leaves a horrible shiny texture and look. I'd love to retain that nice, soft ...

Re: Took Delivery Yesterday
Congrats on your new purchase
I have almost the exact same car and love it.
What Spec options did you go for?
Did you get a good deal on it?

Thanks for all the nice comments
Has anyone got any up-to-date info on how the F15 X5's like this are holding their value on the used market?

Re: Finally took some photos
Lovely - how do you find the 2 litre lump? Is it okay for this size car or a bit sluggish? Does it give good fuel economy.
I find it really good on fuel; regularly getting over 40mpg. Its not a rocket ship acceleration wise, but its punchy enough for the type of driving I do ...

Finally took some photos
Hi Guys, I finally got round to taking some photos of my new-ish car. I've had it a few months now and absolutely love it. It took a while to find one with the right spec and colour combination at the right price. Here's the spec run-down: June 2014, BMW X5 Drive25d M Sport Carbon Black with Ivory ...

Re: How do you clean your alloys?
Upon reading this I ordered some Pro Bilberry Juice which arrived today, but just realised its not designed for polished alloys? (I have 20" MSport wheels on my F15 X5).
Do you guys think its ok to use if I heavily dilute?

Re: 2014 F15 // Rusting Break Caliper's & Rear Drums
http://i64.tinypic.com/2yuivpx.jpg Apologies if this caused any confusion - when I originally said 'Rear Drums', I meant the disc centres. I ended up having these and the brake calipers treated and sprayed (calipers in black and centres in silver). I couldn't stand having the rusty colouring on the ...

Re: Alloy Wheel Refurb advice? // London
Ah, interesting. They done the wheel refurb and painted the calipers and drums and done an awesome job.
Guess time will tell if those annoying rusty calipers and drums return!

Re: Alloy Wheel Refurb advice? // London
Thanks guys, really appreciate the comments and suggestions. I've phoned around a few places and all in the same ball-park of around £80-£100 a wheel, apart from BMW Cooper Croydon who want £135+VAT. I've opted for Posh Wash on Park Lane who've agreed to do it for £95 a wheel inc VAT. I'm picking it ...

Alloy Wheel Refurb advice? // London
Hi Guys, I'm after some friendly recommendations on somewhere/someone reputable to refurb my alloys on my 2015 F15 X5, based in or around London (ideally South). My wheels are the 20" M-Sport, the same as this: http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTQ1NlgxNDcw/z/m~cAAOSwsFpWRgH0/$_35.JPG They aren't in ...
