Thank you everyone, The outer tread was worn before I got it and the first thing I did was 4 Wheel laser align it, After Thursday it'll have Brand new Rubber all around too! lol

Strange wrong gear noise whilst towing.
I was driving back from Snowdonia last week (lots windy roads) towing a Caravan, when briefly (about 3 seconds) the car sounded/felt like it dropped down a gear (auto box) when not really needed. Has anyone had/heard of any similar experiences please? Have been enjoying my E53 all without any ...
