Re: Tires set up for e53 (245/45 r19 - Front & 275/40 r19 - back) ??

Re: Tires set up for e53 (245/45 r19 - Front & 275/40 r19 - back) ??
I made a litle rechearch and discovered following : BMW recomended size : Front : 275/40R20 Back : 315/35R20. And when you use "Tire Calculators" over the internet, then there is no difference in measures with Front : 245/45 R19 Back : 275/40 R19 So it should be safe pick. i am not so much afraid to ...

Re: Noise
Check your wheel polts. )
Have seen cases where guys think they have real big issues and the solution is that wheel polts were losen.
when you changed pads then it might be easy as that.

Re: e53 Xdrive not working, also now air suspension inactive
[quote="X5Sport"] Last point.....if you have had the battery off you need to start the car and turn the steering from lock to lock. That should clear the 4x4 light. The suspension warning is most likely down to a poor battery state.....and is a very well known 'scare tactic' by the car when nothing ...

Re: e53 Xdrive.
[quote="Steamyrotter"] Also check the front output shaft connection.. Ie the part where it comes out of the transfer box and joins the front prop shaft. The splines there are prone to stripping and you will lose front drive. The transfer box may be compensating for it to the rear. On the pre ...
