FWIW I had similar, outside shoulders on 20" Bridgestone Dueller RFT fronts wearing away. I had mine changed as per the attached image http://i67.tinypic.com/6hrz8l.jpg and have managed 15,000 miles with even wear since.

Digging this up - how did you route the cable?

I had my install done by Chameleon. The guy extended the wiring and took it across the top over the drivers side doors. Unfortunately I did not check exactly where he hardwired it to and my Thinkware F770 does give the ...

Re: So what filters do i need to replace??
In the end BMW had started a quote at £460 for the oil service and both sets of pollen filters. I suggested they do the oil server its own for which they charged me @£228.40 (think I got fleeced a little there) but then purchased the filters separately and fitted them myself for £130.15.

I have these options and the boot does thump close

Thanks. I've taken to letting the boot come down and pushing the button towards the bottom to stop it. If I time it right the boot then just needs a small push to "soft-close". Thankfully haven't trapped my arm, yet

Soft Close and boot\trunk\tail lid
Hi,
I have the soft close option on my X5, which to be fair I originally thought would be a gimmick but absolutely love now .
Anyways, my question to you guys is with the soft close doors and the the auto tailgate, would I expect the tailgate to latch and soft close?
If not, how do I go about ...

Re: Buying a AUC X5 62 plate- need advice
Found it very difficult to negotiate for anything after I'd put the deposit down on mine. I suggested one of these little ride-ons to cheer up my 20 month old who would be coming to pick the car up with me but didn't even get that. Stupidly assumed they'd clear the 2 big marks in the protection film ...
