Yes not thinking to go for this as firmly believe current owner didnt keep up with service and care these cars require. will keep looking for nice. @20K it wasnt a bargain anyway with all these issues.

it came as advisory on last MOT, the noise is more when you drive on concrete road, i have changed myself both on mine wasnt too hard with hub puller! looks like the water splashes from the inner side that causes the rust and noise.

Recently replaced the windscreen washer pump as it stopped working, as shown above, all washers has separate pumps as they share the tank but not run at same time. worth just replacing the front washer pump if you dont hear the sound of pump running for lights at all.

Are you doing short journeys by any chance? Daily short runs won’t put the charge back in. It needs about 20 mins of running above idle just to put the starting charge back. As you have an E70 you need to get the battery change coded (if not already done). The advantage of the AGM type is that these cars draw significant current to run their on board systems so an AGM is better suited (and was fitted by default) but it’s not essential to have one.
