I've got a vinyl cutter.
Just let me know what you want cutting and I'll do it for the cost of the vinyl.
And I don;t mind cutting swear words if you want :)

Re: 2002 3.0d auto sport

The first one seems like a good price. I'm currently trawling the market to see what stuff is going for and at 71,000 miles that a good price even though it hasn't got the sat nav. It depends how important that is to you really. I really want it because I tow my drift car around alot and hitching up ...

Re: SMOKING AND HOT EXHAUST

How many miles has the car done? To check the turbo, pop the pipe off the front where it goes forward and down to the intercooler (jubilee clipped). Now try to move the spindle in the middle of the turbo (turbo shaft). ANY movement isn't good but side to side movement means the bearings have ...

Re: E53 3.0d POOR FUEL CONSUMPTION

I bypassed the EGR on my 530D.
I decatted it at the same time when I replaced the turbo.

I gained 5mpg but I don't know if that was the decat or the EGR bypass.

Redish Motorsport are in Bristol.
He is a BMW specialist but more down the ///M route.
Give James a ring and have a chat. I know he has basically always worked for BMW.

Re: Burning oil - Heavy blue smoke - Please help

Possible if the seal has gone o the inlet side.
The smoke would be a heavy white cloud if it was the exhaust side.
If the bearing has collapsed (as mine did) you would most definitely know about it. Massive loss of power and really loud grindy/whirring noise.

Re: Potential owner. Couple of Q's

So.
Discussion turned to LPG and the cost.
And we can get an LPG bulk tank fitted at work for £250 and then the gas is 40p/L....

Is anyone running a converted 4.4?
What range do you get and what size tank have you got in the car?

Is anybody pumping their own gas or just buying from forecourts?
