Re: DISPLAY SCREEN
Hi bud, i purchased the eonon ga7166s unit. It came with the harness needed to connect and run through the car. The new unit is a swap out affair with the original nav screen. I love it and took about an hour to install. Worth a look for the £300 i paid. They have a new updated model since however ...

no one else have the same issues or attempted to tackle them before. appreciate its a manual specific thing but apparently is present on other models not just the x series.,

Re: Memory seats
from the wonderous world of google i keep coming up with the fact that only the dealer can program this which, if true imo is stupid as that means only the initial purchaser would be set up.
Programming the keys to remember the last seat and mirror position is done at the dealer

Re: Newbie e53 x5
well BMW replied RE the gap in between the build and registration, they literally said dealers wont register until the car is sold and to contact the selling dealer.

Re: Memory seats
to set the memory seats position the seat as you would like then press the memory button and then the number you want that to be set to (1,2 etc).
to test it took the setting, move the seat again then press the number you selected and it should return back to your settings.

Speaker Wiring
Morning guys and gals, Connected an amp / sub to the car yesterday. This all successfully comes on and turns off as it should. I need to know what colour wires to tap into to install a LOC to give me phono inputs. The one guide i has was from an american board and for a DSP car. My car is non - dsp ...

Connector for the electric backrest rake adjust option. Will be one each side. Not many cars had it, but mine did and very useful it was too
[/quote]
Aha, makes sense, take it plug and play then if I purchased a switch?
Thanks for the info

Blue connector in boot
First off apologies for the noob-I-ness of the post but I tried searching with no joy. Found this connector in the boot, is this the oem sub connector? If so, could I use these wires to connect a low line convertor and install an aftermarket sub / amp. I know I'd need a remote, Earth etc http://i248 ...
