Re: Pirelli Run flat tyres ? 225/45 R 18 91V

New guy here. My X1 has had the Pirellis for 50k, but the backs were down to 2 mm when I got it last month. I have opted (As I did with my E91) to go the Regular route. For the X1 I chose Goodyear F1 asymmetric 2 tyres - much cheaper and have made a huge difference to the car - eg no twitching on ...

Re: Newbie with a 2011 23D

Nice looking car.
The x-line body additions were one of the options that persuaded me to purchase mine. I think it enhances the appearance greatly.
I thought the Prof. radio and "shark fin" meant I had blue tooth connectivity - doh!  :-[

Re: Bluetooth handsfree

I have a Parrot mki9000 from a previous car, have purchased a fully-wired SOT cable and hope to install myself. I don't know (as I didn't ask) whether calls will be possible via the steering wheel controls, but not too bothered if they aren't. I have the Prof radio set-up without iDrive also.

The last owner was a lady (no, not a wrestler  ;) so my metaphorical hat off to her!

Re: BMW x1 fuel consumption

Hi: New guy here. I have had my 2.0D x-drive, manual for about a month with 50k on the clock. I have been averaging 44.8 (the 0.8 is important!) over the last 700 miles of mixed town & country and trying hard not to push it. I have not managed to get to 50 mpg even on a steady run. Oddly, this is ...
