Hi, I am not sure whether they would fit an E53. Below is a set for sale on bay (not mine) and it has a compatibility filter to select your vehicle to see if it fits. Mine were re-furbished under warranty but I left them to get worse so they could not argue it was that bad.

Hi, I just today collected an X5 40d M Sport on a 62 plate. I think I am going to purchase a second set of wheels and winter tyres probably off fleabay. A winter tyre package from BMW seems extortionate and not really worth spending £k's on wheels that are gonna get grubby with the winter conditions. ...
