I only have one remote key, I dont have the plastic key either.

Just an update, I managed to contact the previous owner who had the original (2008) satnav dvd as well as the rear parcel cover.  I picked them up from him at the weekend and you will be glad to know I am using a 'legal' copy of the sat nav dvd now.

Thanks for the advice guys.  I think I will have to bite the bullet and order one from the dealer.  Just need to wait for the V5 to come through.

Our car was missing the Sat Nav DVD when we bought it. I looked on eBay and found a cheap one, I bought it as I wanted to make sure that the drive works correctly. It seems to work fine. Looking online people seem to be suggesting that non-genuine discs will end up destroying the drive. Is this true ...

thanks for all the comments. I we tried to the 'pretend you are parking in the next space' technique and it does work. I will take your advice and let her get used to the PDC and camera. She is driving it much more confidently and I am sure parking will improve. To be fair, she is a good driver ...
