space saver question

hi all

just discovered that the car I bought with the lovely aftermarket 22" rims have standard tyres fitted. With third row seating there is no spare , jack etc. Can anyone offer any advice on what size of space saver to get. I am going to have to carry it in the boot. I'm really thrilled about it ...

hi,

no the issue is definitely the heat / dust shields one was broken and rubbing.  I have another problem now in that the tyres are not run flats, no spare , third row seating ... just great...

Hi again. It turns out the problem is the two heat shields brake dust covers or whatever they are called.  Can these be done away with they are broken .. Or do I really need to replace them ?

hi, no they are definitely aftermarket wheels. see pic  the tyre size  is 285 35 22

hi folks

here is my issue , there is a loud rubbing noise coming from the nearside front wheel , intermittent meaning its like something is rubbing every wheel turn.

this has only just happened however I was staggered to see that there is zero (well about 2 mm) clearance between the top of the ...

just checked, it does not have sa620, is this something that can easily be retrofitted, or is all the hardware already there even and it needs a software mod ?

hi,

thanks for the reply , I'm sorry I don't see that on my screen at all, I see the spoken instructions icon for the sat nav to give verbal instructions.

Voice command seems to be stuck on phone commands

hi everyone,

maybe I am missing something but is it possible that my voice command button only works the telephone functions? I have the professional sat nav upgrade however the voice command will not work anything else.
any help would be appreciated
