Hi alanhelen
Without a doubt you have certainly had your monies worth from your warranty.
Air bags, front diff and a transfer box that's unbelievable.
In the 3 years of AUC warranty i don't think i've racked up £200 :-[
Even at twice the price, your warranty would have been a bargain :))

Hi Kenniff
Yes your quite right horror stories abound about all makes and ages of motors dying, and owners being left with a nightmare bill.
Good research and a lifetime knowledge of the industry & mechanics is a must to run older motors. That and a damn good local indi.

Hi
Yes its a bitter pill to swallow, do I chance it? or........
Anyway my decision was made after only a few months of ownership. If I had little or no bother, Id run without any warranty. Here we are 30 months later and it's performed as I expected it to. Exemplary.

Hi
Congrats on your new purchase. Looks stunning, love the wheels.
You've obviously done your research, and it should pay you dividends for the future. Mine came with new discs, pads & tyres in march 2014.
I am now into year 3 with a 60 plate @ 72k now. I had AUC for the first 2 years, and now use ...

Re: Service history query
Hi
Service history is everything with these cars.
Anyone considering buying one of these regardless of model would insist on a documented history.
A 12 plate is now 2 years out of its main dealer warranty, unless its had a AUC warranty since then. Its my guess its been independently serviced or not ...

Hi Nine468
Just to throw my hat in the ring, I apologise for high jacking your post.
I don't have a staggered set up on mine, both axles wearing 255 x 55 x 18. Does this mean I don't need star marked.
Thanks
Steve

No you don't need star marked tyres ...

Re: Dipstick or I drive
After a recent service, the dipstick was showing just below the full mark as I have filled all engines, I continued to monitor this level over the next week and was satisfied that the level was fine and had not moved.
The sensor at this point in time showed an overfill and alerted me as such. On a ...

Re: New RF tyre advice please
Hi Graeme
My 18 inch Conti SSRs seem to be the cheapest tyres around. I ve just done a search for your size on National tyres and unbelievably they are £220 for contis. Incredible the difference. perhaps I should hang onto my 18 inch wheels and save myself a small fortune every 20k miles.

Re: MPG low & Autobox
Hi Tom
29 mpg sounds about right, you should be able to achieve that in auto if you can behave yourself!
Have you tried a full reset? Have a look at this:
