Re: wheel bolts

I'm Milton Keynes. Thanks for the offer but I'm only after one, you'll probably get more selling the lot on ebay.

Will have a scour on ebay.

wheel bolts

Anyone know where I can get replacement wheel bolt with a 19mm head? ECP and CP4L only offer 17mm for the X5 and I don't want the extra weight of two wrenches  :))

Re: Shudder while braking

Garage reckons it is the front bushes - looked like they were on their way out but they wanted £310 to change them which I thought was steep for a relatively easy job. I'm pretty sure my rear subframe bushes need doing too so I'm going to shop around to see if anyone will do the lot for a better ...

Shudder while braking

I've got a problem with the car shuddering (can feel it through the steering wheel and certainly other passengers are starting to notice it) when braking from 40mph+. The weird thing is it only occurs during a certain point in the braking process (when approx 50% pressure is applied) and the rest is ...

Re: Rear Wiper Arm

Just did the upgrade this weekend after my old one was losing contact at the top of the windscreen, pleased to report the new one does a much better job.

Anyone know if you can use E70 arms for the front? Mine are looking a little worse for wear.

Re: Roof bars WANTED

If anyones still after a set I'd take £40 inc. delivery or £30 from Newport Pagnell. They are genuine BMW bars with locking key.

Spare wheel

Probably a controversial statement but I'm actually a fan of the 17" 5 spoke wheels which I believe were the standard fit option - I prefer the chunky tyre look ;) Mine came with 3 in great condition and one which is chipped and bubbled with corrosion. Rather than pay £50~ to get it refurbed I ...

AM Signal

Only a minor issue, but the reception for any AM stations on my radio is pretty poor, and seems to be affected by the throttle - whenever I use the throttle the signal crackles worse. FM is fine, but I mostly listen to AM on my commute - any ideas?

Re: Radio Pixels

Guys, I've successfully swapped out the ribbon cable and all is great.....except now I've lost the bloody radio knob :-[ In the very likely case that the missus has chucked it out, does anyone know of a suitable replacement? I've looked on ebay and they are either a stupidly high price or being sold ...
