Door Speakers

Hi all

I fancy the idea of changing my speakers as they sound crap at high volume as the can't handle the bass

Have any of you changed the OEM speakers for better sound?

Have you used the same diameter so fitting is easy?

Do you need to leave the airbag connected when taking the door card off ...

Ive got freeview on my 2006 X5

And as said the picture is good when you get a good signal (this is very rare and having to rescan quite often when in different areas)

Do you think when the analogue signal is completely turned off the digital signal will be boosted

I've changed about 70% so far

i'm waiting for more to arrive to do the headlining & reading / visors

you will have to get error free for the numberplate otherwise you'll get a warning from the obc

all the interior are ok to get any they won't cause errors

so far i've replaced all the festoons 38 ...

Hi

that's a point when i connect the lead to the scanner the green light flashes once then that's it

tried uninstalling and reinstalling but no further forward with win 7

I could email you my software to see if it's different from yours

yes this is one thing i havn't tried yet

I'll have to borrow a laptop with xp at least i can then rule out software, scanner, usb lead

i spoke to a different seller on ebay who also has a scanner for sale and he only recommends XP

so fingers crossed it's win 7 thats the problem

tried all you said

i think the problem is:

when i plug the usb lead in it doesn't say add hardware it just makes a noise as if you connect a usb device

If i then go to device manager it's under other devices with a ! in a yellow box next to it

you can then right click and update ...

Hi all

I know this has been mentioned on earlier posts

But it works perfectly

My seatbelts were slow to retract so pulled the belt out fully and sprayed both sides adn let it retract

Did that a couple of times and now they are like brand new brilliant

I've also sprayed all the door rubbers to ...

thanks i'll have a look at that

I have tv in motion enabled by scanner

i also have the toys in your car tv in motion lead which i've now removed which i might put in the sale forum

The problem is the freeview signal is crap (passenger only !!!) so i thought the dvd idea would be better for ...

Hi all

how do you connect to the av on the tv screen in the front

is it plug and play or do you need to splice cables

There only seams to be blue plug, white plug and two coax leads

Basically i have dvd/monitors in the headrests and was wanting to link one of them up to the front

only the auto lock but that one was the least inportant

Still can't get the scanner in device manager (it's still an unknown device)

I've tried everything

the settings must of been delayed because of the cold lol


what was the other thing you showed me that had a usb with wires on reseler or something i think you said

can that do the same as the scanner??

i wonder if it's easier if i get one of them because of ...
