Re: Why oh why will it not start after battery removal??
Thanks for the above comments....
I had a new Bosch battery 3 months ago and a new key from BMW 6 months ago. When the battery is drained I always try jump leads for a great length of time but it never fires up and I only ever remove the battery when all else fails.

Re: Why oh why will it not start after battery removal??
It is down to my parking situation.
Very annoying that I can not remove my battery without the car losing its code.

Why oh why will it not start after battery removal??
Every time I remove the battery, usually to charge it up due to a drain, the car will not fire up. The car turns over but does not fire, the last two times I have had to take it back to the garage who charge £72. The last time it would not start I called them out as they meant to have sorted the d ...

Re: What's It Worth (CAT D Content)
like somebody said as least you know the car at its worst state, no hidden surprises......the only way is up now and at least you know the repair will be done to a good standard.

Re: What's It Worth (CAT D Content)
I agree..... Even if the repair is to a good standard, 1k less than market value is not a great deal. Big cars are getting hard and harder to sell nowadays with petrol prices etc and if your car is a CAT D then you will be really struggling to sell it on UNLESS the price is very tempting. My advice ...

Re: X5 2002 4.4 sport.... Does it have self leveling suspens
Well well.... the garage quoted my a min £150 for one rear sensor and one hours labour. Or it could be the pump and I would be talking £400 upwards. After some research on the site I looked at the fuses in the boot. Located the fuse (30amp), pulled it out to find it had blown. Replaced the fuse and ...

X5 2002 4.4 sport.... Does it have self leveling suspension?
Hi
As above, does it have self leveling suspension? Do all 4.4 have it?
Recently back from the garage with the good old warning light.... they said it needs a rear offside sensor but both rear sides look a little low to me.
I will post some pics tomorrow
