Quick update, the turbo whistle was more than you'd expect from the remap, an inspection by an Indi garage has discovered the turbo outlet gasket (which joins the turbo to the aftercooler pipe) has blown. You can clearly see the mark on the gasket where the gas has been escaping. Hopefully that's ...

Turbo whistle
I just had my 05 X5 remapped yesterday and the test drive went fine and all was good. I noticed today however that the turbo is much louder and coarser and I'm wondering if I've blown a turbo gasket or something? are these easy to get out and diagnose? anyone had this or something similar, thanks

Great that worked, thanks! One other question, the system is supposed to be capable of 7 digit post codes but when I enter a post code into "city/PC" section of top level nav menu it gets up to the 5th digit and then stops and just shows available streets within that more general area?? Am I ...

satnav in 2d only on 2005 dvd system
I bought a 2010 map update disk together with the V32 update software and although it seemed to install correctly I have not been able to activate (or even find) the 3d or perspective view?, are their different versions of the V32 software or am I missing something else?
