Its fallen off somewhere...most frustrating. Now my PDC sensor is hanging inside the bumper and 'sensing' all the time when I put her in reverse. My local independent BMW garage fitted my 3 sections for one hours labour. They managed it without taking the bumper off.... Very impressed! Saved me a job!

All three grille sections are now black. The long bottom one, and the upper halves, along with the kidneys.
Will get a picture up.

I have exactly the same issue on my 2004....will be keen to learn any resolutions.
Same symptoms...fine when car is moving, AC lovely and cold. When stuck in traffic and stationary...not very cold at all.
I have never seen or heard the pusher fan kick in.

I also replaced my front Kidneys with an all black version. Has completely changed the front appearance of the car.
