Re: WTB f15 wheels with summer tyres
I've noticed your post for F15 Alloys and tyres but it's from a while ago so not sure if you're still looking? - I have a set of 19" BMW X5 F15 Style 467 alloys, the tyres all have plenty of tread. I bought them with the intention of fitting winter tyres to be used on a ski trip that was cancelled ...

Selling Wheels and Tyres - Advice Please!
Hi, when I had my E70 I used 19" (M Sport Style 223) Alloys with winter tyres in the Winter. I now have a F15 and bought a second hand set of Style 467 and will be putting the winter tyres on these and putting them on the car this week. Currently on the 467s there are virtually new Continental ...

Mercedes E350cdi Coupe Sport, BlueEfficiency 2010 / 10 Plate Tiptronic
This car belongs to my other half and has been very lightly used over the last couple of years because of her maternity leave I have an X5 that we use for family duties so get very little use out of the E350, especially now she’s back working in the city centre and I work from home 4 days per week t ...

Boot Liner - Recommendations
Hi,
Has anyone put a boot liner into their X5? - If so, was it good and would you recommend it?
I'm finding it difficult to get something that looks good and durable.
Thanks in advance.

Re: BMW Dealership vs BMW Specialist
I would always find a recommended specialist; No matter what make of car I've driven I've always sought out a reputable specialist as I have an inherent mis-trust of main dealers for the very reasons you have given above. Also, like any industry, the cream rises to the top and it seems like the best ...

Re: Genuine BMW e70 boot liner
I have the same boot liner that I used in my E70 and it did a great job of protecting the boot, I now use it in my F15 and it fits pretty well, certainly not perfect but pretty close....... For £20 it's a bargain as I think I paid nearer £100 for mine 4 years ago. I wouldn't roll it up to send but t ...

My only advice would be to get an independant pre-purchase inspection, good luck!

Re: Took delivery today - 16/9
Thanks for the response Mark, good to hear that the run flats do not affect the warranty as my winter tyres are non run flats, I'm quite looking forward to getting them onto the car as they made a huge difference to the ride when I had my E70, though the winter tyres are on 19" rims as opposed to ...

Re: Took delivery today - 16/9
MarkG, thanks for the comprehensive write up, it's much appreciated. You mentioned that you would change into non-run flats when The existing tyres wear out, I also had the same idea but I think I may have read that this may invalidate your warranty? ........I'm not sure if anyone can confirm or ...

Anyone de-badged their F15?
My old E70 was specced with no X5 badge on the back and no badges on the sides, I really liked this and think my F15 would benefit from having the badges removed, had anyone else done this?
If so, was it difficult and were any marks left and how do you think it looked afterwards?

Re: Hello to all, with a question
I've no idea about the rear splitter etc but would be interested to find out how you think your F15 compares with the E70.
