Re: Drivers side rear light making a buzzing noise...
You sir, are a legend!
So as for the wierd configeration on the front, its due to a bulb being out, not a nasty/expensive electrical fault, thats great news! Will check bulbs and fuses tomorrow when its not so pitch black outside :)
Did your little test with the brake pedal, the buzzing does ...

Right I'll check connections thank you.
There is another problem (not sure if its related) but I have the bottom passenger side rear light/brake light bulb not working (this isnt the size the buzzing is coming from...)

Drivers side rear light making a buzzing noise...
Hi
My drivers side rear light is making a buzzing noise. This only happens when the lights are turned on. Here is a video of inside the removable section in the boot of it:

Any ideas?

Before I shell out for a new battery, is there a way i or a garage can test my one by plugging some magical device to it or something?

Hi
Havent got round to doing anything to the car yet. But it cut out again today and it would restart easily but immediatly cut out (like 5 times) i then switched it to petrol started it and drove off ok. Now this could have been a fluke, or the problem may be LPG related?

Re: Lights on dash, power loss, help!
So it could be as simple as, need a new battery. Wont i have to remove Lpg tank? Is that difficult?
ABS and DSC, would they screw up if it was battery problem?
Why else would they screw up?
I will drive the next few days with my new stereo off, see if it still happens.
Whats likely worst case ...

Lights on dash, power loss, help!
Hi
I have a 2001 3.0 petrol/LPF X5
While driving the other week I got engine management light (ive read on numerous LPG threads on various forums that this is quite common as the engine thinks the fuel is too lean...)
Now onto the lights, these are the lights in question:

The unit that was in there didnt have anything plugged into its aerial socket, but received radio stations and quality was really good!
There was a parrot connected too, perhaps one of them had some sortof aerial built in?

The only bits i removed were the bits on the doors as they just pop off (lift from pointy end first as there is a clip on the flat end)
The rest of the parts i just took my time with and wrapped them in the car (look up how to remove them all and you'll see why ...
