3.0sd, dead engine :( broken timing chains :(
Hi all, have my 2008 3.0 sd now about 6 months, bought in a private sale and have 7000 miles on it since buying. The engine misbehaved and now I need a new one.
Both timing chains are broken, I have no compression in 3 cylinders due to bent valves, camshaft cap bolts have broken, camshafts had heavy ...

Fitting side steps to a Sport?
Hi all,
Is it possible to fit side steps to a 2008 e70 m sport? For some strange reason I think that they can only be fitted to the se but I hope I am wrong, any ideas or links to a set that are good quality and do fit the sport?
Cheers,
Paddy

New X5 owner
Hi All!
Just bought my first X5 at the weekend much to the missus dismay!
It's a 2008 3.0sd m sport, it's space grey with black leather, had planned on something a bit fresher but she put her foot down about that!
Will possibly get some pics up when I get it home and cleaned up but until then I am ...
