removed all pumps ,tested each outside washer bottle , I have 2 light pumps and 4 screen pumps , 5 out of the 6 worked , I threw the broke one the floor , then went for a wee, my mam then came out with my coffee and picked it up and put it in with the rest , so I had to retest, then all 6 worked. so ...

rear washer pump dead

I cant remember if ive posted this before , but , the pump for the rear wiper fluid has stopped working , all the others work ok but there is nothing happening with this one , ive plugged another 2 pumps to test and these don't work either, , I think there is a fuse in the boot , 81 I think ...

but i got more jobs to do soon
aluminium plate removal , oil pressure sensor and oil level sensor removal , then lower sump removal
ill take pics and that when i do them jobs

yeah ill do before and after pics, im just hoping  that when its all put back together, she actually runs ok :)
she shouldn't leak as all the gaskets were brittle, so that's a bonus

today, I stripped the other side down ,
removed and re stuck on the water pump
:)
going to get them coated in silver ,
and I didn't swear once, so bonus all round :)

ok, duly noted,
the main one is ,what colour do it coat the rockers,
oem gold (ish)
black to match the plastic covers
or silver to match the lines and the top ,

not done anything for a bit , my avensis passed its mot , so I can just drive this, any whoo, because my rocker covers are an absolute disgrace, ive decided to get my rockers powder coated, so on Saturday im going to remove the other side, and change the upper timing case gasket , as ive bought them ...

its a good job I don't actually needs to drive the car, spare car and a bike , so I can at least walk away from it ,

today, was not a very good day, went over , drained the water out of cooling system ( making sure the system didn't leak test)., removed some pipes, started putting rocker on, rtv in appropriate places, , moved a little pipe out of the way, but don't know where is goes , got rtv all over the place ...

I didn't really fancy getting wet through ,
ironically I have a garage :).  but cant get into it , as there is a 330 coupe in front of it , and the garage is full of tools on the floor , and bits of a m62 engine top :)

that too :) well I got rained off, removed waterpump AGAIN . removed front cover, re aligned it properly , with the aid of a large screwdriver, applied sealant of appropriate bits, then totally destroyed the waterpump gasket getting it back on , I HATE the coolant pipes. whilst getting wet. so today ...
