BMW X5 E53 BLACK GREY LEATHER 2004 52K £11500 reduced again
A great vehicle with very very low miles for the age at 53k. Been extremely well looked after and only two previous owners. All servicing has been done at main BMW dealership and all the paperwork to prove. You still have the option of taking out a BMW warranty if you so wished as it has had full ...

pre wired for Bluetooth?
So I have all the buttons on steering wheel and a mic in roof. However nothing in the arm rest when I took it apart. Also I looked for loom and connectors in the boot. I found what I think is Bluetooth antenna plug purple and black. I also found a small white 2/4 pin connector and a blue connector ...

Re: SATNAV Screen blank. But I can hear radio!
So I took out the spare removed trim and both the cd changer and the DVD satnav unit. Whilst routing around I found a small ball bearing across two contacts on another plug that was exposed. I also looked at the fuse box and there was a small amount of corrosion where the fuse was blowing so I ...

Re: SATNAV Screen blank. But I can hear radio!
It's actually the 5amp fuse 75 slot in the back that is blowing. Are there some other fuses don't know about??

Re: SATNAV Screen blank. But I can hear radio!
Thanks guys. So checked fuses again... 73 i think or the 5amp that covers the unit had blown and blew again straight away when I replaced it. Weirdly the fuse that should be there for the CD changer had bee taken out… I disconnected the whole NAV MKIV unit and then tried another fuse it still blew s ...

SATNAV Screen blank. But I can hear radio!
Basically the screen will not come on and there is no power to the MKIV unit in the back or any power to the CD changer. I checked fuse 73 all fine… Any other ideas. Weird I can hear the radio and turn the channel over on the steering wheel buttons… The other day the screen was going on and off but s ...

Bluetooth pre wired or not?
So I have a 2004 3.0d Sport with multifunction wheel that has all the phone buttons on it. I do not have the phone cradle or pairing button in arm rest and have taken bottom off this panel to reveal no extra wiring. How do I know if the car is pre wired?! I don't want to buy a ULF Bluetooth module ...

E53 Spare wheel different
The spare wheel is totalLy different style to the 5 spokes on the actual car. Is this usual? Are they space savers?? Or have my wheels been changed along the years?

Re: BMW lapsed insured warranty yes or no?!
Would anyone mind telling me what the "biggies" are that can go. I have heard of the Turbo... But anything else?? Collected the car today. Holds the road better than my E39 528i! Have had a great drive with the sunroof open (great extra!) And my first ever Xenon headlights! Never will I be dazzled ...

Re: Retrofit Bluetooth on 2004 3.0D SPORT
Yes it has the dash sat nav with 16:9 screen and the steering wheel button just not listed on the HPI check options list. So thought for £75 I can ebay a module and if it is pre wired slot it in... Maybe a parrot the best option just like the idea of not adding the extra aftermarket kit in the car
