Do  have to connect this straight to battery or can i use the points in the engine bay?  It was flat today so had top call out GREEN FLAG.  But reckon a charge may sort it as Wife left heater on without engine running for 30 minutes...  And I reckon thats what has zapped it... Any thoughts?

It's actually the 5amp fuse 75 slot in the back that is blowing. Are there some other fuses  don't know about??

Thanks guys. So checked fuses again... 73 i think or the 5amp that covers the unit had blown and blew again straight away when I replaced it. Weirdly the fuse that should be there for the CD changer had bee taken out… I disconnected the whole NAV MKIV unit and then tried another fuse it still blew s ...

Basically the screen will not come on and there is no power to the MKIV unit in the back or any power to the CD changer. I checked fuse 73 all fine… Any other ideas. So I have a 2004 3.0d Sport with multifunction wheel that has all the phone buttons on it. I do not have the phone cradle or pairing button in arm rest and have taken bottom off this panel to reveal no extra wiring. How do I know if the car is pre wired?! I don't want to buy a ULF Bluetooth module ...

The spare wheel is totalLy different style to the 5 spokes on the actual car.  Is this usual? Are they space savers??  Or have my wheels been changed along the years?

Yes it has the dash sat nav with 16:9 screen and the steering wheel button just not listed on the HPI check options list.  So thought for £75 I can ebay a module and if it is pre wired slot it in...  Maybe  a parrot the best option just like the idea of not adding the extra aftermarket kit in the car
