I would change that oil one more time if this was first time in car history, my mate have a 4.4 7 series on 03 with 126k on the clock and he changed gearbox first time in car history cause same issue what you have. to get top end equipment, forget fuel economy lol or most of the diesels, six gear gearbox is not too bad and yes definitely gearbox oil and filter needs to be changed! Replace tail pipes for stainless steel rectangle ones,looks even better 

Everyone has different taste, I still think that E53 looks best with original 19" ones!

I have same issue  but light is blinking about 20 sec, seems to not affect anything! Rybrook dealer couldnt figure it out or wasnt bothered too much! >:(
