Re: how much does the battery drain
I'm having problems with my E53, I just don't do enough miles, I'm thinking of getting one of those battery chargers that charge and condition the battery, 1.5 miles to work and back every day just doesn't do it.

Re: Instrument cluster display
I changed mine with one I bought from Ebay, it's an awful job 1st time around and the template they sent for drilling the holes didn't line up with my clocks, fortunately I checked the rear of the instrument to locate the screws and drilled it ok. It's fiddly to say the least and it's one of those ...

Re: E53 FACELIFT STEERING WHEEL TRIM REPLACEMENT
Think I used a long series 5 mill Allen key to get my airbag clips loose, just took more pressure than I expected but when you get it off you can see why. Need a T10 screwdriver thats skinny so it goes into wheel to locate screws torx sockets no good. Just replaced dash pixels last weekend and had ...

Re: X5 E35 and the dog
My Labrador has trouble getting in my E53, I bought a fold away dog ramp which is excellent but he's bloody scared of it and basically have to force him up it. The answer is always try and reverse up to a large curb or grassy mound and he hops in and out all day long, the ramp is just there for ...
