NEW TYRE SWAP(let me explain)
Long story short
I bought a new continental tyre last month
Now selling car
Dealerships don't care about tread on tyre (unless it's under 2.5mm)
So if you fancy a swap here's the deal
315/35/20 tyre only
Must be excellent condition
With 2.5mm tread or above
In midlands area
Will swap with payment ...

LED Lights
I fancy changing the interior and exterior lighting on my e35
Namely the
boot lights
number plate lights
maybe puddle lights
and footwell
does anyone have a list of whats needed? ( ie how many and what size)
I could always go look when its not so horrible outside, but wondered maybe someone has ...

Re: Parking heater remote start- Enabling
My parking heater wasnt working so ive had it replaced under warrenty
it now works when the car is running - i can hear it shutting down when i take the key out etc
it doesnt however activate setting the timer or ticking the "direct" mode on "aux heating"
sometimes the a/c unit lights up like ...

I applied the 12v for about 5 seconds......
fuel - full
battery 12.2v with ignition off
outside temp 7 degrees
Put wire from the 12v jump start connector to the white/green wire on the Webasto unit.
Any 12v would be ok. If you look at begining of this post you will see the jump start point.
Hope this helps

Re: Parking heater remote start- Enabling
t400, well that is strange, again have you tried putting 12v to pin one of the heater directly.
All alternatively set the timer and see if when it is on that the heater is getting a 12v signal to pin 1.
how do i apply the 12v to pin one?
Im not much of an electrician ...
