Thanks Pinewood.
There are a few protyre centres not too far from me, worth making a call.
Any idea what their charges are?

Re: X5 35d M Sport Insurance Price
I have using sky insurance for many years now, since my M3 days and have always paid around £550. Have the same engine has yours on the X5 but I only do 5000 miles a year.

Wheel alignmen/tracking in SE/E London / Essex /
Hello I have just had brand new bridgeston runflats replaced on my E70 2008 35D. The old tyres were worn from the outer edges, the rears were fine. Think it time to get the alignment checked and corrected. Can anyone recommend someone who knows these cars when it comes to tracking. I can travel ...

[quote="Riggie"] [quote="kay323"] [quote="sitrom"] I agree with the fact that non RFTs give a better ride. However I was under the impression that there are NO star marked tires non RFTs for the X5, and I have read in the past that if you don't put star marked tires, you increase the risk of ruining ...

Re: Tires from Black-Circle (BMW * Rated)
With black circle you can get fully fitted price and choose a local garage.
So seems like it's best to stick with bmw rated tyres, which means sticking with the run flats
Are there any non RFT That have the same outer diameter as the rated tires ?

Re: Tires from Black-Circle (BMW * Rated)
As the E70 X5 came with RFT tires from the factory so I assume only RFT tires will be * rated?
Can you still buy non RFT that are BMW * rated ?

Re: Tires from Black-Circle (BMW * Rated)
I have noticed that when they have good offers it is usually to clear old stock.
I hate buyig tires! First it was lots of research and phoning insurance when deciding to swith from RFT to Non - RFT and now if I should get BMW rated or not.
I thought I had made my decision with with the Toyo T1 !

Bridgestone ER30 Turanza
Hello
Is anyone running Bridgestone ER30 Turanza 255/50/19 on the E70 X5 ?
Found these at a good price on Camskill and Tyre Leader. These also seem to be BMW * rated.
