Re: E70 quality enhancement front driveshaft ‘recall’ 2012-2014
[quote="4by4"] Dear X5er2018, Did you make any headway with your propshaft failure? I ask as I am now in exactly the same boat as you. I have a 2010 X5 30d which has just clocked 100k miles last week, mostly motorway miles. There was no indication that a failure was about to occur, no noises or ...

N/S/R indicator not working
Morning all. My car has recently developed a problem whereby the nsr indicator isn't working, as per rapid click/flash while indicating. I initially thought it was a bulb so bought one to replace it with, this never cured it and the original bulb is fine. I have switched the holder to the other side ...

Re: 4.6is Differential seals, bearings?
Thanks Stevo, kind of put my mind at ease. It's going in to a friends garage when the seals arrive, I've just laid it up in the meantime. I assume the diff needs to come off to replace the seals, and therefore any bearing damage will be obvious?

4.6is Differential seals, bearings?
Hi all. I've recently discovered my rear diff has a slight oil leak from the right hand shaft entry. After speaking to BMW I've ordered new seals for both sides. I'm just wondering if when they arrive and I get it in for repair, is there going to be any other unexpected problems? I.E could the ...

Just a quick update. I went ahead and downloaded the Carly app from Google play and ordered the dongle from them. All working fine and a very handy thing to have.

Anyone able to code in Glasgow or even Scotland?
Hi, wondering if there's anyone nearby able to code out the tyre pressure monitoring system for me. All the valves have been removed and the dash warning still remains. Unsure of any companies that are able to do this. Anyone on here in Scotland able to do this for me. I will of course pay for your ...

Avoid an X3 at all costs would be my advice to you. My brother and anyone else I've known to have one don't have a good word to say about them.

Re: Amps Speakers & Subs installation
I removed my BM54 unit and sent it to carphonics. They fitted 2x rca outputs and I also had the stage 2 upgrade done at the same time. Sound quality is excellent and I just used a normal sub and amp in the boot.
