Thats shocking. I think the previous owner saw these defects and thought great time to upgrade down to the dealer who probably didn't check, check and check again and bunged it straight onto the forecourt with the AUC label on it... It would boil my piss if this was used and I hadnt checked it ...

Fixed at Ocean bmw for £600. Both doors sprayed.

Unfortunately they painted over the stone chip protection strip which looks like the sort of job a dodgy backstreet garage would do. This part is ongoing, but the scratches are gone!

If you have a trustworthy garage near by (hard things to find) then they should only charge a maximum of an hours labour to change pads. Probably only half an hour. So £25-50.

But even changing discs and pads and the sensor would probably only take you an hour at home if you have the tools.

Agreed, the wheels look a bit basic for the car. If you have the Msport suspension though probably best to stick to the big tyres and 19's as you say, will help smooth the ride a bit.
