Transfer case oil reset 2007 pre LCI??
Hello all,
I’ve got a July 2007 build, 30D and can’t seem to find if there is a need to do a code reset after changing the transfer case oil?
From what I can see it relates to the Xdrive model, not pre- LCI.
Anyone know for sure?
Cheers
Chris

Re: Swirl Flaps leaking. Blanking and DPF effects?
Do you keep an eye on regens? I get around 250-500 miles between them depending on driving mode (town/motorway). This is what other people have reported until blanking the flaps, then they’ve seen a drop to below 100 miles between regens and refitting the flaps makes it jump back up.

Swirl Flaps leaking. Blanking and DPF effects?
Hi all,
I'm suffering from weeping oil residue from the swirl flaps on my M57/TU2 and have been researching blanking them off but there are reports that it makes the DPF work harder, in some reports up to 2 or 3 times more frequent regens with blanks fitted, is this a genuine side effect of ...

Re: E70 3.0D rear tailpipes
Yes, much better. It was the OEM kit, easy to do, only took 20mins per side.
Borrowed a mates exhaust pipe cutter and cut the existing pipe as per the instructions, popped out the bumper trim insert and bolted on the new tail peice.

Re: Dipstick or I drive
I did an oil change on the weekend, put in 7.6L which was max on the dipstick but showed overfilled in the i drive menu, sucked out 350ml via the dipstick tube and it now shows max & ok in the I drive menu and mid way on the dipstick.
A few reports online detail that mid way on the dipstick is ...

Re: Thermostat & Warranty...
Had the same response here from a main dealer, even gave them a Carly app log showing the low temps (mid 70's) over a couple of hours driving, they said it was ok and as its not showing a fault code there is no problem. I've bought the thermostats and will sort it myself.

Re: 2007 E70 Rear brake pad life
Just the Usual wishy washy answer from BM, they have yet to explain fully why the sold me an AUC with what now appears to be incorrectly set CBS, talks still ongoing......

2007 E70 Rear brake pad life
Hi all,
When the rear pad reset is done on the CBS, what does it reset too?
I'm sure mine reset to 16000 miles but I'm not sure if that's correct, seems a bit low.
Cheers
Chris
