What do you reckon as to buying warranties as obviously with private sales you are taking on that risk.

Yeah anything youve added to it that might need to be declared over the standard factory stuff.

My misses has a car which we normally use for round town stuff and I normally only use the car to drive round the m25 to see my daughter a couple of times a week so each run is normally an 70-80 mile round one. Not that's it's a massive issue. Lucky if I get 28-29 in the vxr and then I only get about 300-350 miles to a tank

Sorry si I wasn't suggesting it was overpriced mate just a little bit more then I think I can afford right now which is a shame as it looks a well kept motor and you're quite local aswell. Not sure how the fuel would be compared to my vxr even on a diesel one of these, insurance is dearer aswell but ...
