no haven't checked the base of the tank, just no obvious leaks. Just put 2 and 2 together with the more frequent operation of the Webasto (which I would like to isolate as it kicks out stinking fumes but that's another story)

I wouldn't worry too much about the washer motors. My front ones stopped working intermittently. I swapped the motors around whilst I was getting to bottom of the fault as I could handle not using the rear window for a short time. It may be something as innocent as this

Hi I have noticed over the winter that I have had to top the coolant up about 3 times in 2 months after getting the check coolant warning message, It only takes half a litre at most to top up but does anyone have a handle on the frequency this should be topped up? Is it coincidental that its ...

Cheers Richard managed to tip the header tank on its side to prevent having to drain and cleaned all 3 filters (the main one was very clogged up!) Back together and job done in 30 minute's

Hi I've just developed a fault with my windscreen washers. When I start the car up or the first time i use the washers I get a really strong long spray of water and washer fluid but if I repeat it say after a few minutes I get nothing, just the noise of the motors. See I do get that and the blowers come on with the fan light flashing but it just blows cold air.?

Oh just to add move checked all fuses which are okay. I've also read that the preheat option (which is the one I want to use as it's getting colder). I'm assuming that since I can ser 2 timers that the preheat option is activated. Is this true? ?

Is not a sentence I would associate with my X5 Facelift, what on earth were BMW thinking about when they fitted these headlamp unit's!!! Oh and by the way do t let your bulb clamp come off!! It's just took me an hour to get it back on.. Oh the joys
