Re: Brake upgrade
Not bitter no haha. The wife drives the X5 more than me when I'm away for work and she would be just as happy as me to see brembos on it just they are out of my budget. Unless Raj does 0% finance haha. How much brake dust do you get from the red stuff pads? I'm constantly cleaning the wheels because ...

Re: Brake upgrade
Hi Raj, Yeah my wife would probably kick my ass buying them, but maybe some day I'll pluck up the courage to stand up to her and buy a set. X5 sounds like a good set up. The garage I bought the car from changed the front pads for the mot but I think one of the disks is worn as I get a slight shudder ...

Brake upgrade
I'm looking at upgrading the brakes on my 3.0d x5 and just interested in what people have gone for. I'm looking to upgrade disks and pads without the need for brembos.
Thanks in advance.

Re: E70 wheels onto E53
Hi, By staggered do you mean like the 20's that are on my car just now? 275's as opposed to 315's on the rear. I checked all 4 wheels and they are all the same size and fitment seems the same as the ones i have on. problem is im at work and not home till next week and trying to find tyres. Thanks ...

Re: E70 wheels onto E53
Hi i just realised my error with tyre size. You are correct 255. Thanks for your help. The place i buy my tyres from are a alloy wheel dealer so they should have the spigot rings. i take it these are the plastic rings that fit into the centre of the wheel? Im not so clued up on wheels and fitments ...

E70 wheels onto E53
Hi was wandering if someone can help me out here. I have been offered a set of 18" wheels to use as winter wheels but i think they are from an E70. The guy sold his car and kept the winter wheels he had. The tyres on them were 235/55/18 and the fitment is 8.5Jx18. Will these fit straight onto my ...

Re: Self leveling suspension problem
They are sorting out a couple of other things aswel. Just feel let down by the after sales so take this as a little victory. I know it's not expensive part or job but every little helps.
