Re: oh god... replacing xenon blubs....

Looking back, now that the anger has faded...

i should thank BMW for allowing me to explore my ability to navigate the engine bay, in pain, one armed and without sight... an ability i never knew i had  ::)

Re: 2018 X5

Will test both but i expect the X5M to come out top in grin factor.

I have Loved my SD and its plenty fast but doesn't have the feel of petrol... I miss my old M petrol's :)

I like the idea of the new M5 so will try that also i think, i do love being up high since having the X5 though.

Re: 2018 X5

I would like to know this also as I could be in the market for one  :)

Also you mentioned 20k discount, is that mates rates for you as a loyal customer or something anyone can just ask for? I see pre-regged at £75-80k but is that discount from new?

Re: Replacement 10.25" screen, with built-in Android!

Thanks Weaselchops :)
Guess it depends if i think full screen is worth it on the TV then...  :hmmm:
I'm running CCC so the screen is not fullscreen, not a massive issue i guess as it's not used as much as the rest of the car  :P
Looks like a great upgrade though!

Easy to fit?

Re: Replacement 10.25" screen, with built-in Android!

Can anyone confirm if i need to get DAB and TV extras or will they pass through? I have both on my SD so would be good to not have to rebuy them :)

Re: Parking brake switch flew off... best place to order replacement?

Just fitted mine, so it was... easy-ish :D Actual replacing it was simple and only a few bolts. The tricky time consuming part was removing the center plastic surrounding it without damage. I was prob being a bit too gentle but yeah its all done and always feels good to do yourself. Made me want to ...

Re: Parking brake switch flew off... best place to order replacement?

Yeah its pretty annoying to live with lol... keep pulling it off (ohh err) when i park...

It was £48.47 delivered which is a decent price i think.
Annoying to have to buy a new one but that's another issue :)
