My dads X6 had same issue and was brand new but never found what issue was as he got the arse with it and ...

Re: Black and Titanium kidney grill pictures + aero kit + V8 tail pipes fitted.
I have been toying with putting the gloss black performance grills on the wife's 40d, but wasn't sure since it has the titanium centres.....thought about using black outers and titanium inners, like yours, now seen yours I still can't decide..! Think I'm gonna have to try it with gloss black grills ...

Re: Good bye X5 - hello Cayenne :)
Loving reading this thread as I have a 7 seat 40d in deep sea met with oyster leather...the wife likes the cayennes but no 7 seat option so biding time to change...better watch the no camera option though as the Mrs loves that ha ha. I have one eye on the MC Shift massers and Bent GT Speeds too for ...

Re: fake the m sport trim
I just had new brakes done on my X5 40d and while waiting I noticed in showroom they had AUC X5 SE with 20s and arches and next to it was a 40d M Sport with 20s and painted arches. I compared the two visually and the SE arches are not as angular or pronounced as the M Sport ones, the M Sport ones ...

Re: Warranty Direct-Any good?
In my experience the WD policies and such like exclude various items that can be expensive such as nav units, ICE, and some expensive modules. I have taken BMW warranty on both my 335i and X5 as they just cover virtually everything and with no arguing and haggling over claims. The 335i just had all ...

Re: Newbie X5 Owner.....Happy Friday :)
Yes when I started looking I had already decided Oyster was a must so that limited the choices!
The wheels on the 3 are Atomic 19" CSL reps but they have 9.5x19 ET33 rears which are quite deep concave...

Re: Newbie X5 Owner.....Happy Friday :)
To be honest I never would have specced them from new as they seem to be a pretty high cost, I think theyre 2-3k from memory :o. However now I have a car with them I must say I absolutely love them, they are one of my favorite parts of the car now! Definitely the most comfortable seats I have ever ...

Re: Depreciation is massive!
He got rid of it now but it had 20 inch Y spoke alloys, should be same size and fitment as yours. He had conti sport contacts on it and it was so much better. I'm going to do same on mine in a few months.

Re: Depreciation is massive!
Out of the two Q7's my brother in law had only the second gave any issues and that was a glass roof that was replaced under waranty. What size wheels do you have on your X5? as I made the mistake of buying an X5 with 20's and not having the sports suspension option deleted. I would say the ride on ...

Re: Depreciation is massive!
Everyone has different experiences but mine of our Q7 was horrendous so I cant see reliability being a factor on these. Ours broke every five minutes and always things that either shouldn't break or should be covered by Audi but weren't, like prop shafts, wheel bearings, CV joints, MMI modules ...
