Got a diff from; One Birmingham Motor Works Ltd Unit 4 The Business Centre, James Road Tyseley, Birmingham, B11 2BA Mick 07751299288 Cost 870 and the diff was removed from a car showing 80,000 miles. I was told that they would remove the diff and strip it to make sure it was okay prior to sending it ...

Thanks for that I cant see anything underneath and am not mechanically savvy so not much good. My mrs drove the car last and had returned from a journey and as she was pulling into the street she said it felt like the car was dragging as if the handbrake had locked on and it was struggling to move ...

Clunking noise from back of car when I select gear ???

As the title reads.. As soon as I put it into drive or reverse it causes a loud clunk from the rear end. I haven't driven it more than a few yards back and forth. Any ideas ??? I have had diff oil changed and most other things done to the car apart from anything with the transfer box. Thanks in ...

Turned out to be standard seats !
The lady was genuinely unaware of what style they were but managed to get a neighbour to send me a photo of them which established them to be standard seats .

I bought a set of folding mirrors from ebay for my car quite some time ago

From memory it just all plugged in

powerfold mirrors
drivers door window control panel with the fold button
Associated relay which I think goes behind the glovebox

Thats it ...just make sure its from a right hand drive

Comfort seat query - Info please

I have been offered some seats which have been described as comfort seats  for X5 E53.

The lady doesn't know the answer to the following questions.....

Are these heated as standard and do the seats have memory function on driver and passenger seats ?
