Re: X5 Buying Advice Wanted!
I’ve been there before & bought something nearly there but not 100% what I wanted, I’ve ended up changing again before I’d planned to so ended up costing me more! If I were you I’d go for the 40d or wait until one came up closer to home, you do notice a big difference between the 2 on power with the ...

Re: X5 Buying Advice Wanted!
I would go for the newest you can get at or just over your budget with most or all of your must haves, use the pcp mgfv as your guide for what you will lose in the next 3-4 years, when I had my last one it was a new 15 plate & it’s mgfv was pitched at £26k after 4 years, was around £29k after 3 ...

Re: F15 Used prices
P6NDP when I bought my last 30d msport new on a Pcp in 2015 the min guaranteed future value at 3 years old was £33k, mine had a similar spec to yours but was the x drive 30, seeing these are selling at dealers for around £36k - £38k I would assume the dealers would pay around £33-£35k for them as ...

Re: Help! Think I might upgrade to an F15
Paddy,
In my experience with the high end bmws on pcps there will be little or no equity in the car at the end of year 4, best option may be to do the deal with a heavy discount on new or even more on pre reg & buy it at year 4 then change it 6 months later, as every time I have changed mine they ...

Re: Discount on a 40d M Sport
If you check the Bmw used cars website there are loads of pre reg 16 & 66 plate 40d's for under £50k with pano roofs, 7 seats, 20" wheels etc all will be the run out of the old I drive and other pre year 17 upgrades though I would suspect.
Big issue is everyone who has bought them previously with ...

Re: New F15 Interior
I always have the brushed aluminium as the black scratches very easily, my 40d X6 F16 that I have just traded in was a lot quicker than the 3 30d X5's I have had in the last 3 years, def recommend the 40 now every time, last run down south we did it averaged at 40mpg full of holiday stuff & 4 of us ...

I'll kick of my first post by saying that I'm looking to potentially purchases an F15 but have few questions / things I could do with understanding a bit better!
I) Does anyone know why the deals advertised at the Peter Vardy dealer seem to be so much sharper than anywhere else ...

Re: About to (hopefully) order......
A mate of mine is on his second new shape one now, his first was an ex demo & paid well over the odds for it as you had to wait around 6 months for them, his was never out of the garage but he got a great trade in on it a few months ago against another one, from what I hear he is not alone, if you ...

Re: Current discounts on X5
I know it's a fair distance away from you but peter Vardy in Edinburgh are giving around £10k off the 50d m sport but you have to register it before the end of June. I bought my 40d msport X6 from them in January, it was a factory order & they gave me better money for my trade in than anywhere else ...

Service costs
Anyone had their first service on an F15 yet? I am curious to see how much it was? We have just bought a new F16 X6 40d m sport & I am weighing up weather to buy the service pack or not. Whats everyone's thoughts on them? I have had them on my last 4 cars & ended up changing around a year old, we ...

Re: Power Folding Mirrors
Our March 15 plate has them but they were an extra then, seem to be standard now though from what the build on line shows.

Re: Cold weather pack & multifunction info display
Thanks for the info, I know what you mean about the steering, our F15 X5 does feel a lot lighter than the E70 did but as you say if you use sport mode it is a lot better, the X6 we test drove had the Rev camera & so does our one but not the surrounds, the wife felt fine parking it with that camera ...

Cold weather pack & multifunction info display
Just been told my new car should go into build next week, I am still swaying on adding the cold weather pack & the multifunction info display, anyone have these options & if so what do you think?
Cheers
