Re: Intravee (Now sold) and winter wheels
[quote="tractorjacob"] I also have a set of 17'" BMW alloys with Pirelli scorpion winter tyres on. Still got a bit of tread left, enough to last a winter anyway. £150 but you will have to collect them from the Aberdeen area. http://i1305.photobucket.com/albums/s556/brotherbuckfast/photo_zps0479e4af. ...

Re: Adding TV to satnav?
Sorry to hi-jack the thread but I have the OEM sat nav and also bought a 2nd hand analogue tuner.
Would the tuner be plug and play or would I have to buy the aerials also?
Analogue will still be on in my region for a few months yet so just wondering if it’s worth fitting?
Cheers

Re: Knocking noise when turning
Yup, drop link would be my guess mate. I have been through 2 sets of them in just over a year. Combination of a heavy car and shocking road surfaces. Pretty cheap and fairly easy to replace. Think mine were just over a tenner each. Not sure if you will see much movement by jacking up the car and ...

Re: 2004 X5 3l Sport squeaking rear!
I have exactly the same problem. When you rock the car it literaly sounds like someone is humping on an old metal frame bed! Got the wife to rock it as I prodded about underneath and it is defiantly coming from the rear suspension somewhere but I cant quite pinpiont where. Going to get it up on the ...

Re: coolant leak
If you plan on replacing the radiator anyway why not try Radweld first?
Had a leak on my Audi few years ago and this fixed it for under a fiver.
Got to be worth a go.
