Nope, not sure at all but great shout, thank you
I'll see if I can figure out where abouts the noise is coming from for a better idea.
Thanks again for the reply.

Cold Engine Screech... Turbo?
Hi All, I have a 2009 E70 35D which has just hit 90k miles and recently it has started to screech when the engine is cold. It seems to happen when the turbo kicks in as if I keep the revs low enough with minimal load on the engine, the noise doesn't happen. Once the engine starts to warm up ...

Re: 20" Michelin Latitude Sport 3 tyres, all I can say is wow!!
I'd be interested to know more too. I also have Duellers on at the minute and will very sooon need a set of rears. Was there much price diifference from the run flats? I swapped the RFTs off the wife's Z4 and it made it a much more driveable car with a far better ride. Also saved a few quid too ...

Re: Shadowline trim
I need to give mine some attention too. A quick google and the following link has a few ideas. Not tried any myself yet but like you, clay and regular polish had no effect.

Re: X7 Confirmed
As the PH article says, I think the US market will be the key for the X7. Having said that, I can't see why anyone would 'need' anything bigger than an X5... And that's coming from someone who carts about a new born baby who seems to need the contents of mothercare to go out for a day and a wife who ...

Re: Happy new Year from a soon to be X5 owner
Hi All, Well, I now have the car and love it. Still not really had the chance to drive it much as I was working in India for a couple of weeks and flew out 2 days after collecting, then it went back to have some paint defects sorted which the dealer missed pre delivery. ANyway, I now have it back ...

Re: Happy new Year from a soon to be X5 owner
Quick update... I've just done the deal so hopefully pick the car up in a week or so. Excited and nervous all rolled into one but have confirmed that the AUC warranty covers the roof and pretty much everything else mechanical so at least I can relax for a year.

Re: Happy new Year from a soon to be X5 owner
Hi All, Thanks for the warm welcome. Graeme, cheers for the advice, I had a read of the buying guide yesterday and it's very well written and has some good info. The car does indeed have the sunroof so I'll make sure I give it a proper test. The car is from a main dealer so I'm hopeful that the AUC ...

Happy new Year from a soon to be X5 owner
Greetings all, I stumbled across this forum today after reading various posts on Pistonheads saying how great you guys all are so I thought I'd better sign up. My wife currently drives a 2012 X1 2.0 Xdrive M Sport and I am in the process of negotiating on a 2009 X5 35D M sport so it looks like I ...
