Thanks for the replies guys, in response to some of the questions: I'm on Anglesey North Wales so a bit of a trek from most people. It's a 6-speed manual gearbox so I doubt this would cause the running issue. I do agree with the fact it's going into limp mode the when restarted it comes back out of ...

I'm not sure if it's still the case but almost all Halfords stores have a battery health checking device that's used by the 'parts counter' staff. ( I know this cause I used to work at halfords). They can simply plug it onto the battery and it'll tell you the condition of the battery i.e. what the ...
