Re: Discount on a 40d M Sport
My 50d was circa £76k list and I paid just a touch over £60k........Why get a 40d for more? I don't think the deals aren't there for the 40d currently hence the 50d being popular. A friend has just ordered the hybrid and it's due in December.
Went into a dealer today, ...

Re: Discount on a 40d M Sport
If you check the Bmw used cars website there are loads of pre reg 16 & 66 plate 40d's for under £50k with pano roofs, 7 seats, 20" wheels etc all will be the run out of the old I drive and other pre year 17 upgrades though I would suspect. Big issue is everyone who has bought them ...

Re: Discount on a 40d M Sport
Just had a look through Sytner and they appear to be pretty confident they'll sell a few X5's, there's shed loads of them! Interesting there are a lot of 66 plate with delivery mileage but they are 2016 spec rather than 2017 spec which would suggest they've been in a field ...

Re: Discount on a 40d M Sport

Yes it's a good point. Had a look at Broadspeed after I posted this last night. Seems like the price difference after discount is £2k! Not sure the Hybrid is for me, company car tax isn't an issue and we moved out of London last year so that angle has gone too. Incidentally if you go on to the main ...

Discount on a 40d M Sport

I haven't posted on this forum in an awfully long time. Currently have an E70 SD which I bought new back in Nov 2007! Been a great servant and am looking to replace it. I can see from other threads that discounts on the 50d seem to be just above 20% but I am pretty sure that's not the case on the ...

Thinking of going back to Run Flats

I've had my X5 3.0 SD since it was new in 2007. It's an SE with Dynamic Pack and 20" wheels. Like many people I changed the RFT's at the earliest opportunity and since then have been using Vredstein Sessanta. Nothing wrong with the Vredstein's but only don't think the ride is that much better....I ...
delivery mileage alloys mint M223 no tyres £1200 ono .
Hi, these may work as a set of winter wheels for me but my offer would be a long way below £1000. You yourself have previously advertised a 21" set of wheels and tyres for £1000. I know these wheels are probably in be ...

Re: brand new M223 19" alloys no tyres

Do you know the right tyre size for these wheels ? I need some wheels for some winter tyres (off to the Alps in Feb) so these may work at the right price once I know how much the tyres would cost.

Re: X5 xDrive40D full economy

I wouldn't hold out much hope for improved economy...my SD has done just under 20,000 miles...I do have roof bars and bike racks on the car but the most I would expect to see on a motorway at a steady 70 mph is 27 or 28 mpg. I have NEVER seen 30 mpg! In urban traffic it's low 20's. I have no idea ...

Suspension Upgrade

Hi, I am new to the forum. I've had my E70 3.O sd for three years next month, think it was one of the first in the country. I absolutely love the car and intend on keeping it for a while longer. The one thing that I am not happy with is the ride...particularly when it comes to negotiating speed ...
