I’ve owned many X5’s over the years .. but I’ve realised I need to own another…if anyone has an E53 in absolutely mint OEM condition with FSH I’m a very keen buyer..lower mileage obviously preferred but condition/history trumps mileage ..has to be auto which shouldn’t be too hard I’m not looking for ...

yup..i reckon it is a glitch with its' adaptive nature, ie it can't deal with a schizoid behind the wheel!

Dealer has reprog'ed the box to try and cure the intermittently jerky full throttle k'down, ie it tries one gear then selects the lower one i REALLY wanted after all...grr
