How to re-sync keys after charging flat battery??

Hi all

I had to remove my battery (E53 X5 3.0i) to charge it as it was flat.

All back in no problem and car starts etc., but neither key will now lock/unlock any of the doors/boot-lid

Can anybody advise the re-syncing procedure to get the keys to work correctly again?

Thanks

Mark

Re: Radio problem - lack of sound!
Well that's the easiest check done. As long as all looks clean, the pins are in place and plugs fully home then it could be the module itself as you suspected. BM54 unit is fine, and as a number of folks here have found, can be fixed for not too much lolly. R
How can I ...

:hi:

Check the wiring in the boot, and also look for any sign of water ingress.  It could just be a dodgy connection - which a 'bump' would certainly annoy..... ;)

Can't see an issue with the wiring (but I'm no auto electrician) - no signs of any water.
