What's the cheapest way to get a new spare key?

Re: Bluetooth pairing
That's the problem- it doesn't come up.
Before, when the car was running and you pressed the centre button you would get the beep to speak. This no longer happens. So when I press the button and turn the car on I don't get bluetooth pairing. The button seems dead.

Bluetooth pairing
I have had a fully working setup until I had to reset my phone.
Now I cannot pair it as the centre console button does not seem to work. Pressing it does nothing when the car is on whereas the steering wheel button still works fine. Given this, I cannot pair the phone back to the system.

Re: Bluetooth pre wired or not?
Have a look and see if you have the microphone installed. Takes a couple of minutes max.

Passenger door lock
My passenger side door lock is intermittent with the central locking. Sometimes it works, sometimes the lock goes half way down, sometimes it doesn't move. Another attempt with the key fob usually works.
I presume it is the actuator that has gone, is that correct?

Yes £220 supplied and fitted with the tinted windscreen. Top tint only one was £200.

I finally had this fixed by ordering a new windscreen - £220. Works perfectly now and weird lights behaviour has gone.

Light sensor / wipers
My 2003 X5's automatic wipers don't work. I see from the forum that the light sensor is likely to be responsible. Does anyone know anyone / a garage in SW London (near Fulham) that has heard of this (common) problem and can do a repair. From what I understand this involves removing the light sensor ...

Re: E53 Bluetooth Module Question?
You need to replace the microphone with a noise - cancelling one. The one in your car is green. The newer black one works much better

Re: Bluetooth connected but no not working
I know what the problem is here. I had the same issue with my 03 X5.
Essentially the ULF (Bluetooth) unit is too old and will not connect to newer phones. The good news is that it is an easy swap out. It is located by the CD multichanger in the left hand side of the boot. A couple of screws removed ...

Automatic wipers
My wipers are behaving strangely. Can anyone help with where the fault is? This is what happens at night:
(Lights set to Auto, wipers set to intermittent)
Turn on car
Headlights come on and wipers start to wipe intermittently (regardless of rain)
5-10 seconds later lights go off, wipers continue on ...
