Hi All,
I have noticed over the past week that my headlights are constantly on during the day. They usually turn themselves off after a few seconds of driving but this has not happened, is there a sensor that requires replacing?
I drive a 2002 X5 sport D.
Many thanks

Re: Instrument cluster (Loss of Pixels)
I have found a place in London that provides this service, they are based in Enfield
http://www.clusterrepairsuk.co.uk/featu ... xel-repair
They do a 'while you wait' service also.

Instrument cluster (Loss of Pixels)
Hi All
Does anyone know where I can get my instrument cluster fixed in the London area? I know there is a guy in Southampton but I was hoping to drive and wait for this to be done.
Also do you need to recode once done?
many thanks

Is the car getting up to temp (halfway on gauge) and staying there? I know I say really bad mpg when my thermostat was knackered.

MPG 3.0D 2002
Hi All
I have purchased a 2002 3.0 D a few months ago and ever since I have had it the MPG has never gone over 19.2 for both even on the motorway. I have recently had a service and this has not made a difference.
Having looked on several posts this does not seem to be the norm.

Re: New X5 3.0D purchased
Hi, Finally got a resolution to this problem.
Went to Crago BMW specialist in Dartford as advised by MrMaloo and after much investigation, Ritchie found out that it was a broken wire within the loom situated in the tailgate that is connected to the receiver module.
Re-wired and working fine now ...
