Downshifts: Downshifts when approaching a stop can be harsh, with the 2-1 shift appearing to occur too early with a jolt. A slow approach to a stop is less affected than a quick approach. This is worse than ...

Re: Park Heater success
I would be very interested in trying this. Is there anyone in the Wiltshire/Gloucestershire area with the right software and equipment?
I am obviously happy to pay for the privilege of trying it, as you will have had to buy the system in the first place.

Re: Parking sensor sensitivity
That's good to know. My front NS sensor doesn't work and the beep drives the war department nuts.

Re: Back in! Finally
ok, so I found the parts in the end. I will post part number when I'm back in blighty, but can safely say it is one of the more expensive bulbs I've found for such a small one.
It is actually the whole unit as one, rather than just a bulb. about £22.

Back in! Finally
So I Finally tracked the forum down again. I did briefly earlier this year, but couldn't get in and then had trouble finding it again.

20k miles into a remap
I have now put 20k miles on my 54 plate x5 3.0d sport, since I had it remapped.

FInaly made it back!
I go away for 3 weeks and it takes me months to track the forum down again.
Admittedly the last 2.5 months I have visited a few times and tried to get the authorisation email to work. I was beginning to take it personally.
Anyhow, it is good to be back amongst the helpful and knowledgeable again ...
