I average 19.5 in my 4.4 X6M..................... however on a long run i did once average 23 MPG

I ran the permanent live for the Blackvue power magic straight from the battery in the boot (via a 3 amp fuse).
The switched live I took from the back of the cigarette lighter socket in the boot as its got real easy access.

Congratulations you will love it. I am on my second X6M and love it. Average around town 18 MPG on a run down south I once got an average of 26 MPG. The best advice I can give is if you are going to use it in the winter and you get snow regularly like us poor northerners invest in the BMW X5M winter ...

Blackvue was a nightmare with the DAB radio signal in my 2015 X6M. Had the latest blackvue cable that linked the front camera to the rear camera still had major issues.
