Transfer box
Hello all So got to the bottom of dsc/4x4 inactive fault.. Mates diagnostic came up, transfer box internal.. Sourced a new box ... Does any one know if I have to have it programmed to the car or is it just a direct swap.. Spoke to series 9 , they seem to think if it's the whole box and not just the ...

Cheers mate .. I'll go and get the battery checked .. Could well be, I only ever really do lots of short journeys and have read on here that's not very good for the life of the battery .. And thanks for taking the time to reply

Cheers shadrack .. I'll try that, the speedo is working.. Also think that now the warning lights are on the judder seems to have stopped. Maybe wishful thinking but it didn't happen yesterday

Hello guys.. Help needed again lol. Had an error come up dsc and 4x4 inactive, along with the abs light.. Hello mate,
Mines a 2005 model and it had the foam type before I changed it to the vortex type ..so I would imagine yours is the foam type too.

Simply red, that's disgraceful .. Don't wish to rub it in, you really were robbed, if it was the switch that was the problem, the same as mine , it's a 2 minute job for even a novice like me, and there was certainly no re-programming involved .. All sounds very wrong to me,

Thanks for the replies guys .. Changed motor , regulator and plastic clips .. Still nothing , so got a new switch from sytner for £111 ( nice surprise considering same switch in used condition £140 plus on e bay ) all sorted now so happy days

Have checked the fuses .. A smart person would of checked those first , obv I didn't lol.. But they are ok, if I was to close the windows with the keyfob woukd the drivers window still not close if the switch is the problem ?? I'm running out of ideas...

Clips changed, motor changed , still won't move , only thing else I can think of is the switch, any other ideas gladly welcome
